The way Breanna’s mom found me is quite the story. I worked as a makeup artist at Nordstrom for 5 years while starting my photography business. Breanna’s mom Debbie used to come in to my counter. We always had good conversation and I guess during one visit, I mentioned I was starting my business and gave her my card. Fast Forward to now…about 3 years later her daughter Breanna needed senior pictures and guess who’s card was still in her wallet?? You guessed it, mine and it is all history from there. Thanks for the great conversation, a great session, and for keeping that business card all of these years!!

I am so excited that my new packaging has arrived. It is so nice to have everything with my logo and colors on it. Here are my new shopping bags and portrait cases.

My cousin was in town last week from Washington DC, so we met up really quickly to take a photo. When I say quick, I mean really quick because with this crazy Oregon weather, we were only out for about 10 minutes before it started hailing on us!

Ashley is my Rep this year from Tigard High. When she first arrived, we hit it off immediately. She brought her mom, who is a blast too. We were crackin up the entire session. We had fun trying some new things and we even visited the house where President Hoover grew up! (even though Shirley did not believe me that he grew up in Newberg) I had a blast with you guys, I hope you love them Ashley!

This family came down from the Seattle area to have an all pink party for their 3 year old and have some photos taken. When we started out, the girls were not to excited about having their picture taken (refer to previous post). I was acting as silly as I could to get a reaction or expression but it wasn’t until I brought out the bubbles that the girls decided they could humor me just for a couple. After that we were able to capture these treasured family photos.
