J. Carmon Photography bio picture

Hi there!  Welcome to my blog,  I am so glad you can take a moment to check things out. Whether you are a current or future client, family member, or friend, I hope you can learn a little bit more about me through this blog.

My most recent work will always be found here.  Please subscribe to the blog or check here often.

Okay, a little about me.  I love what I do.  I am blessed with three beautiful daughters and a VERY supportive husband.

I love to travel and my idea of a perfect vacation is basking in the beautiful, warm sun.  I love German Chocolate cake (only my Mom's) and will NEVER pass up the mashed potatoes.

I am so lucky to be able to do what I love.  I have wonderful clients and feel so blessed that they allow me to capture such special moments for them.

I also LOVE hearing from visitors, so please, do not just stalk my blog, leave me some comment love.

Joe

I had a great conversation with Joe during his senior pictures. He is very accomplished and will be graduating early. His plans are to attend UofO and since I am a duck fan, I support his decision =). Here are a couple from his session.

A couple from a recent wedding

This was a beautiful wedding to be a part of and I was very happy they asked me to cover this event. Enjoy some of the photos!

Meet Emily

Emily is my newest Tualatin High School Rep this year. We had a great time at our session traveling to different places to find the best places for her outfits. There are a lot more pictures to go over and as soon as we pick out Emily’s favorites, we will get her Rep postcard complete so that you will be able to view that also. Thanks Emily for trusting me and trying out that old teal shed. It worked, I love it!!

I am so lucky

How cool is it, that I love what I do, and I do it for my living? I am thrilled that I am able to do this. I feel so blessed.

Christmas in August

Can you believe the holiday portrait season is already upon us? I’ve recently had a large number of inquiries for sessions in August, September, and October, so if you’re planning to book a session for your holiday photos, it’s best to call as soon as you have a date in mind.
Book early! August and September sessions will receive 25 complimentary holiday cards (a $60 value).

This year’s holiday deadlines are as follow:
Nov. 10th – Last day for sessions wishing to order Holiday cards.
Nov. 17th – Last day for sessions wishing to order Holiday portrait gifts.
Thanksgiving weekend – Sessions held during this time will incur an additional $150 fee to their portrait session.
Dec. 15th – Last day for 2007 sessions.
Dec 21st thru January 6th – Business closed.

Here are a couple of the card designs that I will be offering this year. More to come!

The Scott Family

I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family the other day. I had such a fun time with their kids and am so excited that we got such a great family picture for them. Look at the eyes on these kids!!!
